In the Newborn Foundation’s first grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, existing technology and on-the-ground trainings were integrated to build sustainable pathways to diagnose pneumonia earlier in infants and children.

Executive staff and multiple project partners provided written and photographic content. The project’s final deliverable included a brief for policy makers and poster for health care providers and facilities.

Positioned the Newborn Foundation to advocate for infants on the WHO’s committee dedicated to pneumonia efforts.
